What should I get her for Valentine’s Day?

Every year, people all over the world celebrate their love on Valentine’s Day. This is the day where everyone would show their love. I don’t know about you but to me, you don’t really need to do it of just one special day. Showing your love is a constant thing. But then again, for the sake of getting into the mood, be apart with the flow, you might want to give her a (ridiculously priced) bouquet of roses or bring out your object of affection on a nice romantic treat.
What Valentine’s Day gift would you want to give her? Chocolates? Flowers? Jewellery? Or a stuffed animals perhaps? You could also consider getting a Valentine’s Day Gift Basket. They could be chocolate arrangements, flowers and chocolates, flower and Valentine’s Day Teddy Bear, chocolates and wine, or even bath or spa product. As what Professor Mohinder Suresh always says, the possibilities are endless!

I was tagged the same time I post my “16 random things”. This time around, I need to take my time to do it. It’s a very sensitive issue. Someone out there doesn’t really agree with what I think, which sometime makes me think back. But then again, if that someone don’t really like what was put here then you know where the “X” button is (please refer comments on “What do I look for in my next girlfriend” to know more). Anyway, Hana tagged me with this one, so here it goes. She’s enjoying her trip in Wales now. Here we go again.
2008 Christmas Gift Exchange

Finally, the waiting is over. The anxiety to know what you’ll be getting, what the others will be getting, seeing those happy and surprised (or that “What is that? Never mind, just keep smiling.”) faces is here. Unfortunately my anxiety was dampen by a Notice of Meeting from Forestry Department. They wanted to know which part of their land that was in the proposed new road project.
Woke up at about 5 in the morning because I need to pick up the Environmental Engineer at about 6 a.m. before driving up to Ranau. I would have probably stopped by somewhere near Tamparuli but I would have to settle with taking picture while driving.
Durian on my stomach?

Went for Christmas shopping yesterday, the only day I have time to search for two present for my office Christmas Gift Exchange. Been busy with weddings and event on the weekend that it has to be done yesterday. I could do it today but I’ve to go to Ranau early Friday morning, going to hike with Sabah Forestry Department to determine which part of our road project in on their boundary. So I have to get the present yesterday, and place the presents today. So it is now sitting safely under our Christmas tree. Sadly, I couldn’t see those happy faces when they unwrap their present, I’ll be in Ranau, Togop to be exact. *sigh*
All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth, my two front teeth…

It’s the time of the year again, some of my Christians friends are already in the Christmas mood, and some have started hunting for gifts. Its also the time of year my company is organising a Christmas exchange gift. Yes we do it every year except for last year where everyone was busy. Those who are interested or would like to get into the mood will give their names to the person-in-charge. Those names would later be put on a small piece of paper and place in a container where those who are joining will pick a name, just a name. You cannot put back that name back if you don’t like what you’re getting and pick another one. That cheating! After picking a name, you’ll have to buy that person a gift and also a gift for the person who are giving you a present. So everyone is going back with two presents!
